Winshaw Hydraulic Tools is a fast paced and dynamic hydraulics company based in Houston, Texas. Started in 2013, Winshaw has enjoyed continued growth and expansion over the years. Currently the next step in expansion requires the addition of another hydraulic technician. The responsibilities of the technician are shown below:
  • The installation, maintenance and repair of hydraulic systems.
  • Read blueprints and diagrams while troubleshooting and diagnosing problems.
  • Perform preventative maintenance to avoid operational failures of hydraulic systems.
  • Occasional welding, metal fabrication and electrical assembly work.
  • Must be able to provide drawing review and suggestions related to part inspection and testing.
  • Must use computers, email and other technologies to investigate and repair hydraulic equipment.
  • Disassemble and reassemble machines and equipment.
  • Read gauges to determine pressure as part of a system to evaluate performance of the equipment.
  • Occasionally operate drill press, grinders, engine lathe, or other machines to modify parts tested or to fabricate experimental parts for testing.
