Operations Analyst
Job Summary:
Winshaw LLC is a Houston‑based hydraulic tools, calibration, and rental services company seeking an Operations Analyst to help us scale our operations and improve efficiency across service and calibration. In this role, you will use data from internal systems to analyze performance, build dashboards, and recommend process improvements that enhance turnaround time, margins, and customer experience.

Winshaw LLC provides hydraulic tool repair, calibration services, and rental solutions to industrial customers along the Gulf Coast from our facility at 6403 Brittmoore Rd in Houston, Texas. We are a growing, owner‑operated business focused on quality, safety, and responsive service while expanding our calibration and Norbar distribution operations.
Analyze operational data from Salesforce, calibration systems, accounting, and inventory to identify trends, bottlenecks, and opportunities.
Build and maintain recurring reports and dashboards (daily/weekly/monthly) covering KPIs such as turnaround time, on‑time delivery, technician productivity, and job profitability.
Map and document end‑to‑end workflows for hydraulic service, calibration lab service jobs; recommend process changes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
Partner with managers and front‑line staff to implement new procedures, checklists, and configurations; track results and refine as needed.
Support forecasting and capacity planning for technicians, equipment, and inventory based on historical demand and pipeline data.
Conduct ad‑hoc analyses for leadership, including margin analysis, vendor performance, revenue leakage, and customer segment reporting.
Monitor and improve data quality in systems and other tools (data completeness, de‑duplication, consistent naming and coding).
Prepare clear written summaries and presentations of findings and recommendations for the business owner and managers.
Qualifications
Required:
1-2 years of experience in operations, business analysis, or process improvement in a service‑oriented or industrial/B2B environment.
Strong analytical skills; proficiency with Excel or Google Sheets and comfort working with operational datasets.
Hands‑on experience with CRM or ERP systems; Salesforce experience a plus.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to translate data into actionable recommendations for non‑technical
Demonstrated ability to document and improve workflows from discovery through implementation.
Preferred:
Experience in hydraulic service, calibration labs, field service, or industrial tools/equipment.
Familiarity with work orders, service tickets, and asset‑level data (serial numbers, calibration due dates, equipment histories).
Bachelor’s degree in business, operations management, engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Work Hours, Location, and Compensation
Location: On‑site at Winshaw LLC, 6403 Brittmoore Rd, Houston, TX 77041.
Schedule: Full‑time, Monday–Friday; occasional flexibility for deadlines and projects.
